Modern Public School Hosts NASA Astronaut Mike Massimino For An Inspiring National Science Day Session

Mr. Massimino stunned the crowd with his personal experience of space travel and describing awe-inspiring stories of his spacewalks and efforts to repair the Hubble Space Telescope. He emphasized the value of persistence, creativity, and curiosity in science as determining factors to chart the course of future space travel. The highlight of the evening was his special talk with the girl students of MPS, who contributed to the Chandrayaan mission through Space Kidz India.

Dr. Srimathy Kesan also inspired the students by sharing the success story of the AzaadiSAT project, a project which allowed young girls to try making satellites.
