Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla & Law Minister Inaugurate India's First Constitution Museum, Celebrating 75th Anniversary
This first constitution museum is inaugurated by Hon'ble Speaker of Lok Sabha, Shri Om Birla, and the Hon'ble Minister of State for Law and Justice, Shri Arjun Ram Meghwal, at O.P. Jindal Global University (JGU), Sonipat. Other dignitaries include Founding Chancellor of the university, also MP, Shri Naveen Jindal.
This was described as a historic milestone by Shri Om Birla, which would familiarize the future generations about the origin of the Constitution and the processes that took place to incorporate it. He highlighted that Prime Minister Narendra Modi had taken the initiative in 2015 to observe the day as Constitution Day and recognize the vision that founded the nation. Shri Birla emphasized that it is not a mere legal document but a direction towards equality, liberty, and justice. He lauded India's democracy to unite diverse cultures across the banner of *Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam*—the world is one family.
