Talking about the farmers' protests, Manmohan Singh criticized the harsh response from the government and Narendra Modi's negative comments about farmers. He shed light on the UPA's support for farmers through loan waivers and increased MSP, and he made a promise that Congress is committed to making legal guarantees for MSP and other supportive measures.
