Ingredients For Tandoori Sauce Pasta
Main Ingredients
- 250 grams pasta
- 1 chopped onion
- 1 chopped capsicum
- 1 chopped carrot
- 1 tomato
- Refined oil, as required
- Salt to taste
- Spices
- 1 small spoon cumin seeds (jeera)
- ½ spoon garam masala
- ½ spoon coriander powder
- 1 spoon chilli flakes
- ½ spoon oregano
Sauces
- 1 spoon tomato ketchup
- 1 spoon red chilli sauce
- 1 spoon green chilli sauce
- 1 spoon mayonnaise
- 4 spoons tandoori sauce
How To Make Tandoori Sauce Pasta
Start by putting plenty of water in a large pot and putting the pot on the fire. Now, take some oil and some salt and add them to the pot. When boiling water is ready, add around 250 g of pasta into the pot. Make sure to stir then occasionally so as to prevent the pasta from sticking to each other. When suitable, remove the pasta from the pot and place it somewhere safe. Don’t forget to collect the water you used to cook the pasta so that you will add it to the sauce later.
Cooking The Pasta
Start by filling a big pot with water. Add a teaspoon of salt together with some amount of oil. When the water boiled then pour the packet of pasta and boil till its done. Stir the pasta time to time to prevent it from becoming stuck together. Once it cooked properly then take the pasta out of the pot and put it in a different container.
Cooking The Vegetables. Put the Kadai on a low flame and add some oil in it. When the oil turn hot, then add chopped onions, capsicum, carrots and tomatoes and if you want you can add some more veggies according to your taste. Fry the vegetables properly by mixing them frequently. In the end, cook them until they become little soft, maintaining the crunchiness in them.
Add The Spices
When the vegetables cooked properly then it's time to add the powdered spices in it. Add one teaspoon of coriander powder, half a spoon of garam masala, half a spoon of coriander powder, and one teaspoon of chili flakes amongst the vegetables that have already been cooked.garam masala, half a teaspoon of coriander powder and 1 teaspoon of chili flakes to the already cooked veggies. Add salt to your preference and mix well. Cook the veggies along with the spices for a couple of minutes. This will allow the spices to release their flavor and cover the veggies perfectly.
Add The Boiled Pasta
After the preparation of the tandoori sauce, put in the boiled pasta straight into the pan. Then, keep toss the pasta in the sauce so that all the pieces get coated well, while ensuring that the veggies are equally spread across the pasta.
Reduce the heat to low and leave the pasta to simmer for about 10 minutes, stirring in intervals, allowing the flavors of the tandoori spices to coat the pasta. Make sure that it is not cooked on high heat.
Garnish And Serve
