The Meghalaya Pineapple Fest 2023, orchestrated by the Meghalaya government, commenced at Dilli Haat in New Delhi, spotlighting the luscious Kew pineapples that the state is renowned for. The inaugural day welcomed esteemed figures such as Hon'ble Minister of Rural Development & Panchayati Raj, Shri Giriraj Singh, Chief Minister Shri Conrad K Sangma, and others, symbolizing the importance of agricultural diversity and interstate collaboration.
Minister Singh lauded Meghalaya's initiative, emphasizing the event's role in promoting sustainable agricultural practices and fostering cooperation among states.
