Elvish Yadav Arrested
Elvish Yadav Arrested

Popular YouTuber and Bigg Boss OTT winner, Elvish Yadav, has found himself embroiled in controversy as he faces arrest in connection with the snake venom-rave party case. After being questioned by the Noida Police, Mr. Yadav has been remanded to 14-day judicial custody. This development stems from a case registered under the Wildlife Act against him and five others for their alleged involvement in arranging snake venom for recreational use at rave parties held last year.

The arrest follows a police raid conducted on November 3rd last year at a banquet hall in Noida's sector 51, where five individuals, including four snake charmers, were apprehended. The authorities seized nine snakes and poison during the raid. It's alleged that apart from organizing rave parties, Mr. Yadav also utilized snakes for video shoots, as evidenced by several videos featuring snakes on his YouTube channel.

The unraveling of the snake venom-rave party gang occurred through a meticulous operation orchestrated by the animal rights group People For Animals (PFA), led by BJP leader Maneka Gandhi. PFA, under the guise of anonymity, contacted Mr. Yadav and requested snakes and venom. Subsequently, Mr. Yadav purportedly directed them to a certain Rahul, who then arranged for the meeting at the sector 51 banquet hall. Upon arrival, the PFA team discovered the snake charmers along with nine snakes, including five cobras, and 20 ml of snake poison. Promptly, a joint team comprising Noida Police and the Forest Department was summoned, resulting in the arrest of all individuals involved.

In response to the allegations, Elvish Yadav vehemently denies any wrongdoing, dismissing the charges as "baseless, fake, and not even 1 per cent true." Despite Mr. Yadav's denial, police authorities had previously hinted at probing his involvement in the case, raising questions about his role. However, Maneka Gandhi has accused him of illegally selling snake venom and has called for his immediate arrest.

This development has stirred considerable controversy, with Elvish Yadav's arrest sending shockwaves through his fan base and the online community. The unfolding events highlight the intersection of wildlife protection laws, recreational activities, and celebrity influence in contemporary society. As the legal proceedings unfold, the case of Elvish Yadav's alleged involvement in the snake venom-rave party affair continues to capture public attention, underscoring the complexities of law enforcement in the digital age.
