Srikanth Movie Review: Rajkumar Rao Shines In The Biopic Of Srikanth Bolla
While the songs of the film are average at best, the involvement of Papa Kehte Hain from Qayamat See Qayamat takes it to a whole other level.
Most of the time, when a biopic is made in Bollywood, it tries to portray the person on whom it is based as a larger-than-life hero. They are filled with fictional moments that give extra spice to the script, but that cannot be said about Rajkumar Rao's 'Srikanth'. The film is based on the life of Srikanth Bolla, a successful industrialist who dreams of becoming the first blind president of India.
The official trailer for "Srikanth" was released on April 9th and was well-received by the fans as well. The film is set to release on May 10th, and it deserves to have a good run at the box office, which is going through a low phase right now. 'Srikanth' is not glorified for the sake of attracting a mass audience, and that's the reason it connects with its audience and leaves a lasting impact. The biopic follows the journey of the man who overcomes all the challenges he faces in life with his intellect despite being visually impaired.
