Yogi Govt Signs MoU With Mexico For UP's Tourism, Infrastructure & Pharma Investment

CM Yogi expressed the significance of Governor Garcia Cefalveda and his team's exploration of industrial investment possibilities in Uttar Pradesh. He attributed the state's growth to India's prominence on the global stage under Prime Minister Narendra Modi's leadership. CM Yogi also credited the state's progress to Prime Minister Modi's guidance, which transformed Uttar Pradesh into a prime investment hub.

The Chief Minister highlighted Uttar Pradesh's diverse strengths, ranging from its rich cultural heritage to its robust infrastructure, including expressways, extensive transportation networks, air connectivity, and access to ports through inland waterways and dedicated freight corridors. He mentioned the state's focus on logistics and transport, along with 25 sectoral policies that aim to attract industrial investment.

Governor Garcia Cefalveda expressed his enthusiasm for establishing mutual business relations with Uttar Pradesh and praised the state's remarkable progress under CM Yogi's leadership. He highlighted the similarities between Nuevo Leon and Uttar Pradesh, both being regions with a strong industrial presence and a commitment to development. The Governor extended an invitation to Team UP to visit Nuevo Leon and explore further trade opportunities through mutual cooperation.

The event witnessed the presence of Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak, State Fisheries Minister Sanjay Nishad, Industrial Development Minister Nand Gopal Nandi, and other dignitaries from both regions. The MoU signing marked a significant step towards enhancing bilateral cooperation and fostering economic development between Uttar Pradesh and Nuevo Leon, despite the geographical distance separating the two regions. With shared commitment and collaboration, both states are poised to progress on the path of development and prosperity.
