Kesari Chapter 2 Review: Akshay Kumar, Ananya Panday, R. Madhavan Shine in a Bold Patriotic Courtroom Drama
Released on April 18 in theaters, Kesari Chapter 2: The Untold Story of Jallianwala Bagh transports the viewer back to India's darkest episode of the freedom movement. STORYLINE
The movie is about C. Sankaran Nair (Akshay Kumar), a courageous barrister, who resolves to challenge the British empire in the court of law following the barbaric massacre at Jallianwala Bagh. Ananya Panday is a courageous character who assists Nair in bringing out the truth, and R. Madhavan is General Dyer, and demonstrates the cruelty and callousness of the character. The story interweaves courtroom drama and blazing historical events with courage, patriotism, and the quest for justice.
