JK Tyre Constitution Club of India's Car Rally for Parliamentarians' 8th Iteration Launched Towards Road Safety .
New Delhi, March 26, 2023: Today in New Delhi, the eighth iteration of the prestigious and eagerly awaited JK Tyre-Constitution Club of India Car Rally for Parliamentarians began. In addition to other dignitaries, the flag-off ceremony was attended by the Hon'ble Speaker of the Lok Sabha, Shri Om Birla, as well as Dr. Raghupati Singhania, Chairman & Managing Director, JK Tyre & Industries, as the Guest of Honor. Established in 2010, the TSD (Time, Speed, Distance) rally has become a renowned annual event to advocate for traffic safety and safe driving habits. It is sponsored in cooperation with the Constitution Club of India (CCI).
Over 70 politicians, bureaucrats, and other invited guests participated in the prestigious event that was held on Sunday with the aim of promoting road safety. Famous lawmakers, including Smt. Nirmala Sitharaman, the Hon. Finance Minister, Shri Anurag Thakur, the Hon. Union Minister for Information and Technology, Youth Affairs, and Sports, Dr. Harshvardhan, and other members of parliament, diplomats, and members of the armed forces, as well as representatives from the media and PSUs, attended this year's event to honor the MPs who lost their lives in traffic accidents.
