Jaat Trailer Review: Sunny Deol Vs Randeep Hooda A High-Voltage Action
The trailer introduces Randeep Hooda as a menacing villain, Raavana.

Following the huge success of Gadar 2, Sunny Deol returns once again with another action-packed movie, Jaat. The trailer of this much-awaited flick was released during a grand ceremony in Mumbai, where Sunny Deol, together with the male lead actors, made an impression. The movie is directed by Gopichand Malineni, with over-the-top dialogues, high-octane action, and a larger-than-life hero. But is the trailer worth it? Let's see.
STORYLINE
The trailer introduces Randeep Hooda as a menacing villain, Raavana. He has terrorised a whole village, declaring, "No one can enter this Lanka." Even gods fear stepping here." But before all goes haywire, Sunny Deol comes in a heroic avatar as the suave Jaat. His entry signals an action-filled revolt, where he outsmarts Hooda's tyranny through sheer brawn and grit. The movies assure high-adrenaline action, death-defying stunts, and right against wrong storytelling with Deol at the commanding centre of it.
Overall: The Jaat trailer serves up exactly what Sunny Deol loyalists would want from an action film of his—ferocious power, rapid-fire dialogues, and edge-of-the-seat fight sequences. There is no need to rely so heavily on South Indian mass-action cliche, as Randeep Hooda's baddie recapitulates Thalapathy Vijay's iconic "I am waiting" monologue in Thuppakki. Apart from that, the forced inclusion of Sunny's 'Dhai Kilo Ka Haath' scene is unnecessary, as is the directors' habit of recycling Ajay Devgn's Singham song. Even while Deol's on-screen presence remains the USP, there are moments that can be done with greater creativity.
In short, Jaat appears to be a fun action-drama with loads of high-octane scenes. If you like the typical action movies of Sunny Deol, you will enjoy this one. April 10, 2025, is the date when this movie will arrive in the theaters, and lovers of action flicks will have something to rejoice about.
