Google Shocks Users: Bard AI Tool Will No Longer Be Free, Subscription Fee Expected
Users will need to subscribe and pay for this upgraded iteration, dubbed Bard Advanced.
In February of the previous year, Google unveiled its AI chatbot, Bard, as a competitor to OpenAI's ChatGPT and Microsoft's Bing. Despite the initial rush, Bard faced criticism for numerous mistakes in its demo video. Subsequently, Google took steps to address these issues. Now, reports suggest that Google is diligently working on an enhanced version of Bard, based on the Gemini model, which will not be offered for free. Users will need to subscribe and pay for this upgraded iteration, dubbed Bard Advanced.
This new version of Bard, leveraging the power of the Gemini model, is expected to bring notable improvements. The report indicates that along with the advanced Bard subscription, users will receive access to Google One, a subscription service offering expanded storage and additional benefits. The revamped product, Bard Advanced, will also integrate with Google's Gemini Ultra.
