BYD India Launched Country's First Electric MPV in 6- and 7-Seater Options

The BYD eMAX 7 is available in two trims. The Superior is offered with a 71.8 kWh battery, where the NEDC range is 530 km, while in the Premium version, it will have only a 55.4 kWh battery and 420 km. Both variants have 6- and 7-seater options, with the Superior variant boasting an acceleration of 0-100 km/h in 8.6 seconds and 10.1 for Premium. The MPV boasts the long wheelbase measuring 2,800 mm ensuring adequate volume of space as well as maximum comfort for all passengers. In designing the BYD eMAX 7 boasts aerodynamic exterior lines which attract sleek front grilles like commanding dragon faces.

Its diamond-crystal-float LED headlights and 17-inch alloy wheels complete this seemingly futuristic yet glamorously beautiful presence on the road. Inside, there are two-tone Black and Brown interiors, a 12.8-inch rotatable infotainment display, and a panoramic glass roof that literally creates an airy and sumptuous cabin experience. This car further offers a third-row ventilated front seat, wireless phone charger, and a total of 580 L of boot space with the third-row seats folded. BYD's Blade Battery, incorporating heightened safety through enhanced heat transfer and reduced collision risks, is a precaution feature of the eMAX 7. The 8-in-1 electric powertrain design maximizes energy efficiency while saving space. Some other technical features are the six airbags, ABS, EPF, EBD, and ADAS. The VTOL or Vehicle-to-Load system allows the car to fuel outside devices.

Now, the BYD eMAX 7 can be bought in four exterior colors: Quartz Blue, Cosmos Black, Crystal White, and Harbour Grey. The price of the vehicle is also a competitive feature. The Premium version comes at INR 26,90,000 for the 6-seater, and the Superior variant starts from INR 29,30,000 for the 6-seater.
