G20 Culture Working Group Meeting In Varanasi Ends, CM Yogi Presents G20 Orchestra Quin Baton To Brazil

The G20 orchestra's harmonious tunes reverberated from Kashi, resonating with the sentiments of G20 nations and eight additional countries – Bangladesh, Mauritius, Netherlands, Oman, Singapore, Spain, Nigeria, and the UAE. This grand event exemplified the concept of 'Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam,' a venerable Indian tradition signifying the world as one family. The gathering additionally underscored the importance of environmental conservation in fostering sustainable development, encapsulating the message of 'One Earth, One Family, One Future.'

A significant gesture during the evening was Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath's tribute to the composer of 'Sur Vasudha,' wherein he presented an Angavastram (stole) and a garland as tokens of appreciation. Held in the spiritual and cultural heart of India, Kashi, this G20 Culture Working Group meeting was a significant platform. Furthermore, six international organizations joined the event, emphasizing its global significance. Previously hosted in Saudi Arabia, Italy, and Indonesia, this program marked India's debut as the host nation, underlining its role as the presiding authority.

The event was graced by the presence of dignitaries, including Union Culture and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Arjun Ram Meghwal, Uttar Pradesh Government Tourism Minister Jaiveer Singh, Union Culture Secretary Govind Mohan, and Uttar Pradesh Chief Secretary Durga Shankar Mishra. As the baton passes to Brazil, the legacy of 'Sur Vasudha' continues to promote cultural harmony and intercontinental camaraderie.
