Netflix is set to welcome back Song Kang, affectionately known as the “Son of Netflix,” in the upcoming romantic drama series Four Hands Two Sonatas. This is an actor’s first big project after he completes his mandatory military service and the show is expected to be available in the international market on August 29, 2026. Park Hyeon Seok is director and on the other side Shin Yi Won is the writer. Four Hands, Two Sonatas contains 12 episodes. This drama is produced by Studio Dragon, which has a good record of cooperating with Netflix for successful dramas.

Netflix has provided official information about the show, stating that the story revolves around a talented pianist Kang Bi O, who is great at both studies and his performances. His journey is disturbed by another pier, Choi Jeong Yo, a prodigy with a troubled history. Completing the central trio is Hong Jae In, a viola major with extraordinary hearing, who becomes a devoted supporter of Kang Bi O while searching for music that truly resonates.

As competition gives way to connection, the three young musicians navigate ambition, friendship, and emotional growth in the demanding world of classical music. The plot develops the transition of conflict into peace via common interests and individual recuperation. Kang Bi O is portrayed by Song Kang while Choi Jeong Yo by Lee Jun Young and Hong Jae In by Jang Gyu Ri. The cast includes talented actors who can present music and emotions at the same time.

The contribution of Studio Dragon ensures credibility because of past experience with quality productions that appeal to the world. The presence of Song Kang is exciting since he presented himself successfully in previous Netflix titles. The series promises an excellent combination of love stories with creative storytelling and takes viewers closer to both the troubles and pleasure that come with pursuing music excellence.  With the premiere date of August 29 drawing nearer, Four Hands, Two Sonatas appears to be another good title in Netflix’s rapidly expanding K-drama portfolio.
