Delhi Congress Led By DPCC President Shri Arvinder Singh Lovely, Provides Masks Citywide For Safeguarding People
The President of the Delhi Pradesh Congress Committee, Shri Arvinder Singh Lovely, has criticized both the BJP Government at the Centre and the AAP Government in Delhi for the severe air pollution crisis in the capital. The city has been shrouded in a hazardous toxic haze, posing a significant threat to public health. In response, Delhi Congress workers and leaders have taken it upon themselves to distribute masks to the public in all 14 districts of the city, aiming to protect people from the life-threatening consequences of the polluted air.
Shri Lovely emphasized the responsible approach of the Congress party, stating that they would not resort to protests or demonstrations to address the air pollution issue. Instead, they aim to assist the public during this critical situation without politicizing the matter. The distribution of masks by Delhi Congress has become crucial as the severely polluted air has been causing serious health issues, particularly asthma and respiratory illnesses, with children and the elderly being the most vulnerable. Despite these pressing concerns, the BJP and AAP Governments have been criticized for their lack of responsiveness.
