Delhi BJP MPs Unveil Kejriwal's Corrupt Politics And Dictatorial Approach, Exposing The Truth Behind His Governance
A joint press conference was held by Delhi BJP MPs, including Smt. Meenakshi Lekhi, Dr. Harsh Vardhan, Shri Manoj Tiwari, Shri Ramesh Bidhuri, Shri Pravesh Sahib Singh, and Shri Hansraj Hans, along with spokesperson Shri Harish Khurana. The conference aimed to highlight the dictatorial attitude of Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and expose his alleged corrupt deeds.
Smt. Meenakshi Lekhi, Union Minister of State, emphasized that Delhi holds the administrative and legal status of a Union Territory. However, Kejriwal's refusal to accept this, she claimed, is a reflection of his dictatorial mindset. She argued that a city cannot be transformed into a state, and there are no specific rules and laws regarding services in Delhi. To rectify this, the central government introduced an ordinance, which Kejriwal disputes due to his alleged fear of corruption exposure. Lekhi stressed that a democratic system cannot be paralyzed, and the central government took necessary action to restore the administrative system.
Dr. Harsh Vardhan, former Union Minister and MP, observed that throughout the past 30 years, Kejriwal is the only Chief Minister who has consistently clashed with Lieutenant Governors in Delhi. Previously, despite differences in ideology, Chief Ministers and Lieutenant Governors cooperated to foster development. However, since Kejriwal's rise to power, development has allegedly been overshadowed by lies and corruption. Dr. Harsh Vardhan referenced an incident where a Delhi Government officer, Shri Anshu Prakash, was called to the Chief Minister's residence and allegedly assaulted by MLAs on Kejriwal's behalf. He criticized Kejriwal's attitude as being unprecedentedly negative compared to previous leaders in Delhi.
