Carry On Jatta 3 Movie Review: Familiar Plot Transferred to London, Fails To Impress With Stale Humor
Carry On Jatta 3, directed by Smeep Kang, attempts to capitalize on the success of its predecessors but falls short in delivering the same level of humor and entertainment. While the first film in the series introduced Gippy Grewal as a star and put Punjabi cinema on the map, this installment struggles to recapture that magic.
The story unfolds in London, where Jass, played by Gippy Grewal, finds himself in love with Meet, portrayed by Sonam Bajwa. However, their path to happiness is obstructed when a dispute between Meet's uncle and Jass's father arises, leading to a decision against their marriage. Determined to overcome this obstacle, Jass, along with his friend Honey (Gurpreet Ghuggi), concocts a series of outrageous plans to win over his love interest.
