2026 Kawasaki Ninja 500: Review, Price, Images, Colours & More
Kawasaki Ninja 500

Kawasaki Ninja 500 2026 has been officially released and is priced at ₹5,76,000 (ex-showroom) in India. On the surface, you may have thought it wouldn't make any big changes, but this new version is packed with must-have technologies that will definitely create additional interest within the enthusiast community due to the new levels of technology.

E20 Fuel Compatible

One of the most intriguing updates is the E20 compliant engine on the 2026 Kawasaki Ninja 500. This will enable the motorcycle to operate on a petrol/ethanol mix containing no more than 20% ethanol, while still conforming to the latest regulations regarding clean air through the Clean Air Initiatives (CAI) established by India.

451cc Parallel Twin Cylinder Motor

The engine in the motorcycle is the same 451cc liquid-cooled parallel twin engine it had in the 2025 model; however, there are many improvements to this design that will improve performance both on the road and off. Its output remains the same at 45 hp and the engine's maximum torque is unchanged at 42.6Nm.

6-Speed Gearbox w/Slipper Clutch

Equipped with a six-speed geared transmission as standard, the Kawasaki Ninja 500 additionally has an assist and slipper clutch incorporated into its design. This modification has provided a much smoother shift, therefore helping to minimize the potential for the rear wheel to hop when shifted aggressively.

Aggressive Ninja Style

As far as design goes, there has been no change to the style of the Ninja 500; however, the ninja styling will still be present with sharp bodywork, dual LED headlights, aerodynamic body panels, and a very muscular appearance.

Advanced Technology Features

This motorcycle uses a fully digital LCD instrument cluster with smartphone connectivity via the Rideology app provided by Kawasaki to allow the rider to check out all of the bike's vital stats through his/her smartphone.

Suspension and Safety

The bike is equipped with dual-channel ABS and both disc brakes in front and in the rear; therefore riders have increased confidence in the brakes on their bike. The bike uses a telescopic fork for the front suspension and a monoshock for the rear; therefore, the weight of the bike is evenly distributed (in terms of front to back and side to side) leading to a very stable bike that is also easy to operate.

Ex-showroom, the New Kawasaki Ninja 500 (2026) is 5.76 lakh. In comparison with many middleweight sports motorcycles, this motorcycle has a performance level higher than most motorcycles. Due to its performance level, the Ninja 500 is more advanced than most motorcycles. Combining performance characteristics with advanced technology will allow riders of all skill levels to ride the Ninja 500.
