BJP's 2nd Lok Sabha Poll List Includes ML Khattar, Anurag Thakur, Piyush Goyal As Candidates

Additionally, Yaduveer Krishnadatta Wadiyar of the erstwhile Mysore royal family replaces Pratap Simha for the Mysore Lok Sabha seat. Union Minister Nitin Gadkari will contest from Nagpur, and Pralhad Joshi will run from the Dharwad seat in Karnataka. BY Raghavendra, son of former Karnataka chief minister BS Yediyurappa, will contest from Shimoga.

The second list also welcomes three Union ministers and three chief ministers as re-nominees. Candidates hail from 11 states and union territories across India.

The list also features notable entrants who switched to the BJP from other parties. Former BRS leaders Seetaram Naik, Shanampudi Saidireddy, Godam Nagesh, and Congress leader Gomasa Srinivas joined the BJP recently.

In Uttarakhand, former chief minister Trivendra Singh Rawat will contest from Haridwar, and Anil Baluni will run from Garhwal (Pauri).

The BJP's first list, released earlier this month, comprised over 190 candidates. With the addition of the second list, the BJP has now declared 267 names for the upcoming general election. The party's choices span a diverse range of regions and backgrounds, reflecting its strategy to field candidates strategically across India.
