Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla & Law Minister Inaugurate India's First Constitution Museum, Celebrating 75th Anniversary

Shri Arjun Ram Meghwal stated that the Constitution is three foundational principles based on equality, liberty, and fraternity. He cited Dr. B.R. Ambedkar in saying independence could be sustained only through equality. He welcomed Shri Naveen Jindal for his inputs to the nation, particularly empowering citizens to hoist the National Flag with pride. Shri Meghwal hoped the lawmakers would visit the museum for a new digital perspective about the making of the Constitution.

Speaking on the occasion, Chancellor Shri Naveen Jindal said that the museum was a tribute to the vision of India's Founding Fathers. The Constitution balances individual rights against state powers and delivers justice, liberty, equality, and fraternity, he said with the Preamble itself enshrining the philosophy of constitutionalism. The museum, in his words, marked 75 years since the adoption of the Constitution which celebrated the philosophy of constitutionalism.

Professor Vice Chancellor (Dr.) C. Raj Kumar thanked the dignitaries, and he announced a National Convention on the Constitution of India from 23 to 25 November. This would invite distinguished speakers joining that could include former Chief Justices, Supreme Court judges, senior advocates, and parliamentarians to enhance discussions on the legacy of the Constitution.
