World Equanimity Day Was Celebrated In The Grand Auditorium Of Satyug Darshan Vasundhara With Special Guests
International Humanity-e-Olympiad

As is well-known, Satyug Darshan Trust observes World Equanimity Day on September 7 every year, and on this day, they also honour the winners of the International Humanity-e-Olympiad held at their premises. This year, the event was organized with invited special guests, principals of schools from Delhi NCR, and winners of the International Equanimity Olympiad. The program began with the lighting of the lamp by Shri Sajan Ji- Chief Mentor, Satyug Darshan Trust, Mrs. Rashma Gandhi- Managing Trustee, Satyug Darshan Trust and Mrs Anupama Talwar – Chairperson, Satyug Darshan Sangeet Kala Kendra.

Addressing the gathering, Shri Sajan Ji elaborated on the concept of "equanimity," which signifies "the equal nature of human beings or harmony," and described it as the "supreme emotion.
"Equanimity thus begets a positive attitude, wherein one who steadfastly stands in the awareness of the real self feels contented, free of desires, and full of spiritual happiness. Even seeing worldly or other-worldly pleasures and riches, one never develops a desire for those fleeting, perishable material possessions and stays detached from them to attain infinite and eternal joy and peace. Even though they are in the world, they are not affected by it.6

Their intentions are pure and noble, their thoughts elevated and liberal, their speech free and fluent, their resolve clear and firm, their vision keen and bright; their habits, memory, and nature pure; their intellect keen and discriminative; and their heart full of love and purity for God.
They stand firm in truth, self-realization, and unity and achieve the perfect control of will and attain the highest state of liberation.

Shri Sajan Ji called upon everybody to become equanimous with the view of achieving this supreme state, reminding them that everything, all living beings, and all elements of the world are parts of the same universal power, and the divine essence resides within all living beings, inside and outside.
With this realization, he is bound to respect everyone-regardless of caste, religion, or class-with due dignity and treat others with loving-kindness. Only then could he rise above division and see the universal truth hidden beneath the façade, only then can he journey toward self-realization and act with love and compassion toward all.
