They have decided to increase the dearness allowance (DA) by four percent, elevating it from 42 percent to 46 percent. This generous gesture was shared by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath himself on his official social media handle, where he also extended his heartfelt Diwali greetings to all the employees.
In his official statement on the platform, Chief Minister Adityanath detailed the scope of this increase in DA, explaining that it would be applicable to a wide range of beneficiaries. This includes state government employees, those in aided educational and technical educational institutions, urban bodies, employees under the University Grants Commission (UGC), work-charged employees, and pensioners who have been actively contributing to the progress and development of Uttar Pradesh. By raising the DA to 46 percent of their basic salary, the government aims to recognize and appreciate the valuable efforts of these individuals in advancing the state's prosperity and welfare.
