It was a dream match for the 21-year-old youngster who ultimately won the game for his team. Dhawan tried his best and scored 70 runs off just 50 balls, and he will think his innings deserved something more than this bitter loss. Punjab Kings needed 10 runs per over, which was a tough task already, but when their middle order left the crease so cheaply, all hope was lost.

LSG sits in the 5th spot right now, just above Punjab Kings because of their better run rate, and they also have a game in hand. Despite this loss, Punjab Kings have a long season ahead of them, and they will be looking to bounce back after this defeat to continue their quest of winning their first IPL trophy.
