Hardeep Singh Puri also took a dig at Arvind Kejriwal, suggesting that he could hold cabinet meetings in jail, citing that two Aam Aadmi Party leaders, Manish Sisodia and Sanjay Singh, are already incarcerated. Arvind Kejriwal's custody by the Enforcement Directorate was extended until April 15th. Other BJP leaders also weighed in on the matter. Bansuri Swaraj stated that the court believes Kejriwal should remain behind bars, while Sudhanshu Trivedi remarked that Lalu Yadav has become Kejriwal's mentor.

The court ordered Tihar Jail authorities to allow Kejriwal access to books and medicines, as per his request, including titles like the Ramayan and the Bhagwat Geeta. The BJP has called for Kejriwal's resignation, but his wife, Sunita Kejriwal, continues to voice his opinion.
