The film is about the first and worst airstrike performed by India upon Pakistan's airbase Sargodha; it salutes the bravery of an Air Force officer who performed the mission and had attained martyrdom.
Storyline
The film begins in 1971 with Pakistan attacking an Indian airbase. Wing Commander KO Ahuja, played by Akshay Kumar, questions captured Pakistani pilot Ahmed Hussain, played by Sharad Kelkar, and finds vital information about the Sargodha attack in 1965. The story then shifts to 1965 where Ahuja is posted at Adampur Airbase and is training young officers, including Vijay, played by Veer Pahariya. Ahuja identifies his martyred brother in the form of a rebellious yet spirited officer, Vijay.
