Norton Manx R Unveiled: 203 bhp Superbike Could Launch In India by 2026
The UK has welcomed Norton's latest superbikes; the new model has been unveiled for public consumption after much anticipation. Under Norton's `Manx` brand, the new series introduces four new models representing a renewed focus on developing high-class racing machines.
Norton has officially registered due to high customer demand and successful marketing launches of previous models priced between £20,250 and £38,750 or roughly between ₹26 to ₹50 lakh. Manufactured in Britain, Norton anticipates owning the Indian market by 2026 but hopes to do so at a more affordable price than UK counterparts, thanks to the Free Trade Agreement between India and the UK.
Powerful 1,200cc V4 Engine Delivers 203 bhp
The Manx R Superbike is powered by an enormous 1,200cc water-cooled V4 engine and creates the largest horsepower and torque available for domestic motorcycle purchases. It has maximum power output at 203 bhp @11,500 rpm and maximum torque output at 130 Nm or 9,000 rpm. Engineered into this package is a 6-speed dual-clutch transmission with an integrated quick-shift capability.
