From Season 4 Review: Darker Twists, Deadlier Nights, and a Mystery That Deepens Further
The fourth season of From, a horror-thriller series raises the stakes to a whole new level. The story has built a dense mythology over three seasons, and will reach its most intense, climactic point at this point of the series. From primary storyteller to supporting charatcers, every character has presented conflicting information throughout season 1-3 that leads to a variety of theories and questioning.
Storyline
The story continues to take place in a mysterious town where its inhabitants are continually trapped with no escape from their captors, with the same creatures emerging from the woods as the sun goes down, making each day a new struggle for survival. Boyd Stevens, Tabitha Matthews and others are drawing closer to uncovering the truth about the town, however each page turned delivers an expected danger to them and the risks are mounting. Tabitha's previous connection to the town and Boyd's ability to vanquish some of the creatures they are battling are major themes throughout. Sofia, a new character introduced in this season, will provide a much different traitor/ally dynamic to the current characters and their plot; thus creating a new level of intrigue and suspense.
