Hon Hai Technology Group, widely known as Foxconn, a key player in the Taiwanese technology sector, celebrated the recognition of its chairman and CEO, Young Liu, with the prestigious Padma Bhushan on Thursday. Foxconn stands out as a global leader in providing cutting-edge science and technology solutions, holding the esteemed position of the world's largest electronics manufacturer.
With a remarkable career spanning over four decades, Young Liu has established himself as a distinguished entrepreneur and innovator. His journey began in 1988 when he founded Young Micro Systems, a motherboard company that marked the inception of his ventures. Progressing through the industry, Liu went on to establish a Northbridge and Southbridge IC design company in 1995, focusing on PC chipsets. Another milestone came in 1997 with the founding of ITE Tech, followed by the establishment of ITX, an ADSL IC design company.
