The much awaited Ramayana tariler is out with its first teaser trailer, which has thrilled all fans of Indian cinema. Directed by Nitesh Tiwari, the story is inspired by Maharishi Valmiki's classic Ramayana, and the film features many actors like Ranbir Kapoor to play Rama, Sai Pallavi to play Sita, and Yash to act as Ravana. In addition to this, it stars well-known actors like Kajal Aggarwal, Sunny Deol, Shobana, and many more, making this film a true multilingual and lossy reading experience.

Storyline

The trailer has not provided a great deal of insight about the plot, but the essential conflict between Lord Rama and Ravana can be discerned. The trailer shows a few scenes from the adventure of Rama and Sita along with the awesome appearances of Ravana. The makers of the movie seem to be more inclined towards the presentation of the emotions and the production value rather than focusing too much on the dialogue and story.

Positive Points

The main advantage of the trailer is its visual appeal. The film seems so appropriate for cinema largely due to the effective use of VFX, production design, and cinematography. Ranbir Kapoor plays Lord Rama in such a calm and composed manner while Sai Pallavi plays Sita in a very effortless and fashionable way. Nevertheless, Yash has the best performance as he plays Ravana in such a powerful way. The use of action scenes, 3D effects, and the overall high quality of the film show that the producers made every effort to produce the epic story.

Negative Points

Though impressive in terms of appearance, the trailer does not portray a lot regarding the plot and the bonds that a couple of its main characters have. Besides, some viewers might think that a number of minor characters appear only for a couple of scenes. As the trailer mainly talks about the world of Ramayana, some issues about the plot, rhythm, and character development remain unresolved. Those can only be understood after the movie’s premiere.

Overall: As a teaser, Ramayana does create enthusiasm and expectations. It is eye-catching due to the incredible appearance, solid music, and acting talents, especially Yash’s. If the movie merges sophisticated technology with the emotional burden of the plot and the adequate retelling of the ancient epic, it may become a super hit in Indian cinema. Overall, Ramayana is going to be visually stunning and worth waiting for the release date.
