Empathy Cell Teaser Review: A Promising Blend of Romance And Emotional Growth
Empathy Cell Includes Cha Eun-hwan (Kim Myung-soo), the lead male character, is a compassionate psychological counselor with a personality that is opposite to Yoo Ji-an's personality.
Empathy Cell releasing in coming July is a romantic drama with an added twist featuring a two-character emotional transfer with Kim Myung-soo and Kang Min-ah as leads. The Young Man will introduce Yoo Ji-an played by Kang Min-ah as the leading lady, who is the successful, glamorous actress with a flawless image attached to her name (i.e., her public persona). She has the latest fashion trends, many awards, and has many people all around her. She has achieved many things during her time in the industry; however, the teaser also shows she has some issues emotionally because of example scenes in it that show Yoo Ji-an crying due to critical comments made about her in recent times. So even though she has had an incredibly successful career to this date, YOo Ji-an is also experiencing a great deal of loneliness and anxiety due to the extreme amount of pressure she puts herself through.
The Young Man will also introduce Cha Eun-hwan (Kim Myung-soo), the lead male character, who is a compassionate psychological counselor with a personality that is opposite to Yoo Ji-an's personality. Cha Eun-hwan is relaxed and calm while meeting with Yoo Ji-an for the first time. Their initial meeting is characterized by tension and awkwardness as Yoo Ji-an has come to see Cha Eun-hwan for counseling and will not be able to connect on an emotional level. Also, the second-time meeting, in an unusual situation, indicates the development of a more profound relationship between the main characters through the building of mutual trust and understanding of the emotional transfer shared by each other as they create new moments together.
