Storyline
Dune: Part Three is set around 20 years after the previous film. Paul Atreides is the Emperor of the galaxy, but many disagree with his authority. The holy war that has broken out across the galaxy as a result of Paul’s victory leads to many issues concerning leadership and other conflicts. Zendaya’s Chani seems to have a bigger presence as her relationship with Paul becomes a crucial emotional element of the plot. Likewise, we see more of Florence Pugh’s Princess Irulan as the political dynamics in the Imperium shift. The trailer also features the return of Jason Momoa’s Duncan Idaho who comes back as the ghola Hayt, and Robert Pattinson’s debut as the villain Scytale. We also get brief glimpses of Paul and Chani’s son, Leto II, and AnyaTaylor-Joy’s Alia Atreides.
