Member of Parliament Mr. Ramesh Bidhuri recently spoke at a protest outside the Chief Minister's residence regarding the non-payment of pensions to retired employees of the Delhi Transport Corporation (DTC) for the past three months. The demonstration saw participation from State BJP Yuva Morcha general secretary Sandeep Sahrawat and retired DTC employees.
During his address, Mr. Ramesh Bidhuri criticized the government led by Arvind Kejriwal, stating that it has turned not only the DTC but all government departments in Delhi into hubs of corruption over the past eight years. He highlighted the discontent among employees of various departments due to the prolonged non-payment of salaries. Mr. Bidhuri emphasized that if the salaries of the 21,000 retired DTC pensioners for the last three months are not released within the next seven days, a large-scale protest will be organized by the pensioners against the Kejriwal government, with the support of BJP workers.
