Corrupt Review Policy Protested By Private Schools,Operators Refuse Renewal Forms: Dr. Kulbhushan Sharma

Dr. Sharma expressed concern over the bureaucratic hurdles faced by school operators during the renewal process, stating that private schools are burdened with unnecessary red tape.

He urged the government to reconsider this rule, emphasizing that the BJP government claims to follow a zero-tolerance policy and aims for minimum government intervention with maximum governance. He questioned why the government focuses only on private schools while not subjecting government schools to the same level of scrutiny.

Dr. Sharma highlighted that the recent directive from the Haryana Education Department requires private schools that have completed 10 years of operation to undergo a detailed recognition review, which involves filling out over 400 pages of information. He deemed this process complex and likened it to the arduous task of seeking re-accreditation, causing confusion among school directors across the state.

Dr. Sharma announced that the Federation, along with other unions and private school operators, intends to meet Education Minister Kanwar Pal Gurjar in Chandigarh to present their concerns and request the withdrawal of this order, seeking relief for private schools.
