Chandigarh: Dr. Kulbhushan Sharma, President of the Federation of Private Schools Welfare Association, expressed his concerns during a press conference regarding the review policy of the BJP government in Haryana for the permanent recognition of private schools. While the government claims to work against corruption, Dr. Sharma argued that this policy is likely to promote corruption instead.

He questioned the need for repeated reviews of schools that have already been recognized by the government and have followed the rules accordingly. Private schools already provide all the necessary information through Form-6 every year. Dr. Sharma suggested that if the government wants to ensure compliance, it can simply obtain an affidavit from schools with permanent recognition, confirming their operational status and other relevant details for a period of 10 years.
