CM Yogi Unfurls Flag, Celebrates 75th Republic Day With Parade & Cultural Splendor In Lucknow

Yogi stressed the uniqueness of the Indian Constitution, which prohibits discrimination based on gender, caste, religion, or region, allowing every adult voter to exercise their rights. He underscored the significance of January 26, 1950, when India adopted its constitution after a prolonged struggle for independence. The CM praised the constitution as the world's largest, filled with numerous achievements, not just granting rights but also emphasizing citizens' duties.

Furthermore, Yogi urged citizens to be proud of India's past and work towards a bright future by making the present beautiful and pleasant. He emphasized the supreme importance of the constitution, urging everyone to ensure that every action is in the interest of the country.

On social media, the Chief Minister extended greetings to the people of the state on the 75th Republic Day, encouraging a commitment to the concept of 'Ek Bharat-Shrestha Bharat' and the building of a 'capable self-reliant India.'

The Republic Day celebrations in Uttar Pradesh included Governor Anandi Ben Patel unfurling the national flag at Vidhan Bhavan, where Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath was present. Various events unfolded, showcasing the prowess of the Indian Army and security forces. Cultural programs by school children, daring performances by the Women Home Guards' motorcycle squad, and thematic tableaux from different departments added vibrancy to the celebrations.

Particularly noteworthy was the tableau of the Ram Temple, which received thunderous applause. Other impressive displays included those by the Election Commission of India, showcasing the new Parliament House, and the Language Department, presenting a tableau dedicated to the UP Sindhi community. The diverse and captivating presentations reflected the cultural richness and achievements of Uttar Pradesh on this significant day.
