Mahindra Scorpio-N & Thar See Price Hikes Of Up To Rs 81,000, Reflecting Changing Market Dynamics
Mahindra & Mahindra is experiencing a strong response from Indian buyers for its SUV lineup, including the Thar, Scorpio-N, and Scorpio Classic. The brand recently introduced its latest D-segment SUV, the Scorpio-N, at an introductory price of Rs 11.99 lakh, ex-showroom. However, the SUV has seen several price increases since its launch.
The company has now raised the prices of the Scorpio-N by up to Rs 81,000. As a result, the Scorpio-N now starts at Rs 13.76 lakh and goes up to Rs 24.53 lakh, ex-showroom. Among the specific variants, the entry-level Z2 variant in the petrol version sees a price increase of Rs 52,199, while the top-tier Z8L variant has a hike of Rs 1,995. Notably, the mid-level Z4 4WD variants receive the most substantial increase of Rs 81,000.

Shifting the focus to the Thar, this popular SUV now faces a price hike of up to Rs 44,000. Consequently, the revised starting price for the Thar is Rs 10.98 lakh, ex-showroom, with the highest trim reaching Rs 16.93 lakh, ex-showroom. Among the different trims, the 2WD AX(O) MT variant encounters the most significant hike, at Rs 44,000. Other variants see a price increase of Rs 16,000, except for the 2WD LX AT (petrol), which now costs Rs 28,000 more.
