Addressing the media, Atishi emphasized the campaign's objective to disseminate Kejriwal's message nationwide. She urged people to join the movement by updating their profile pictures to "save the constitution and democracy" in India.

According to Atishi, Kejriwal's arrest was politically motivated, timed just after the announcement of Lok Sabha polls. She accused the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) of framing Kejriwal in a fabricated case and utilizing the Enforcement Directorate to incarcerate him without substantial evidence.

The Enforcement Directorate's actions stemmed from Kejriwal's repeated summons in connection with the excise policy case. Allegedly, the accused, including Kejriwal, were implicated in formulating policies that favored certain parties, resulting in illicit benefits in exchange for kickbacks.

In solidarity with their leader, AAP leaders decided not to celebrate Holi, considering it a symbol of justice over cruelty. Atishi underscored the party's commitment to fighting injustice, aligning their decision to abstain from Holi celebrations with their ongoing battle against political persecution.

The AAP's stance drew attention to the broader issue of political vendetta and misuse of governmental agencies for partisan interests. Kejriwal's arrest, framed within the context of upcoming elections, raised concerns about the integrity of India's democratic processes.
