French automaker Renault is set to unveil the revamped Duster SUV on November 29, 2023, marking its return to the Indian market. Anticipated to feature a fresh design, updated interiors, and a new engine, this SUV will be built on Renault's CMF-B platform, with potential options for hybrid and CNG variants. The platform also opens doors for a potential electric Duster in the future, aligning with Renault's commitment to electric mobility.

  1. Design Overhaul: The 2024 Renault Duster promises a redesigned exterior, including a new bumper with vertical LED headlights, an updated grille, and modified air intake. The side profile is set to undergo changes, offering a refreshed look.

  • Interior Upgrades: Inside, the Duster is expected to undergo significant updates. Reports suggest new upholstery, a redesigned dashboard, and various enhancements. The inclusion of advanced features such as an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system, digital driver display, wireless charger, sunroof, automatic climate control, and wireless connectivity is anticipated.

  • Powertrain Variety: Renault plans to provide a range of powertrains for the new Duster. Petrol options will likely include a regular 1.5-litre unit, along with a 1.2-litre mild-hybrid unit producing 130 hp and a 1.6-litre fully-hybrid unit generating 140 hp. A CNG version is also on the cards, available with both manual and automatic transmissions.
