Wednesday Season 2 Officially In Production, Star Cast Announced

Al Gough and Miles Millar, creators and showrunners of the series, stated, “We are thrilled that the entire Addams family will be enrolling in Nevermore Academy this season, along with a dream cast of icons and new faces.” Al Gough and Miles Millar also serve as executive producers on the series.

Percy Hynes White is a noticeable absentee from the announcement, as he featured in Wednesday Season 1 as Xavier Thorpe. In 2023, Percy Hynes White was accused of sexual assault on social media. The actor denied these accusations and expressed his frustration by calling it a "campaign of misinformation."

Catherine Zeta-Jones, Luis Guzmán, and Isaac Ordonez will also be returning to the series and will play the roles of Morticia, Gomez, and Pugsley, respectively. Emma Myers, Joy Sunday, Hunter Doohan, Victor Dorobantu, Moosa Mostafa, and Georgie Farmer will also be returning, as will Fred Armisen and Jamie McShane in guest roles. Netflix has also announced that Steve Buscemi will emerge as the latest series regular. 

The new season will feature Billie Piper, Evie Templeton, Owen Painter, and Noah Taylor as regulars, while Thandiwe Newton will also feature in a guest-star role. Christopher Lloyd played Uncle Fester in two of the “Addams Family” films in the 1990s and will also be seen in a guest-star role in season 2 of Wednesday.
