BTS Chile Concerts Halted: Hundreds of ARMY Protest Government's Decision in Santiago
Hundreds of BTS fans protested in Santiago after Chile halted the group's October concerts over stadium safety concerns.
Upon hearing about the cancellation of the BTS concert in Santiago, Chile, fans began protesting on July 5. Thousands of ARMYs dressed in purple and with purple placards assembled to fight for the right of the band to give its concerts in the original location.
The government of Chile has made a decision regarding the concerts of BTS in the country, which were part of the band's "Arirang World Tour". On October 14th, 16th, and 17th they have a performance scheduled at Estadio Nacional, with over 48,000 tickets sold for the event. The first concert on October 14th is an addition to the schedule since the concerts of October 16th and 17th were sold out in a very short time.
