Stree 2 Trailer Review: Rajkummar Rao & Shraddha Kapoor Are Back Together To Fight Another Foe
Stree 2 will hit the theatres on the eve of Independence Day and aims to capture the praises of viewers like its predecessor did.
First teaser of the much awaited Hindi movie of the year “Stree 2” has been launched. Amar Kaushik who directed Stree 2 is an Indian movie director who directed Stree which was made with nearly Rs 200 crore in the worldwide gross collection in 2018. Since the release of Stree, Maddock Films, the producers have created a series of movies set in what they call the “Stree universe”. Another film added to this universe is “Munjya” which also fared well on the box office crossing worldwide collections of Rs 130 crore.
The trailer starting of “Stree 2” begins with voice-over where people are seen discussing a new incurable villain called – ‘Sarkate’; a headless horseman like figure similar to ‘Sleepy Hollow,’ terrorizing the town once again. To fight this new avatar of the enemy, the three main characters – Vicky, Jana, and Bittu – call for the help of Shraddha Kapoor’s character from the initial part. She comes out like a ball of fire, and like a gymnast, gives somersaults, and joins the trio and the wise Rudra to fight this new villain.
