In addition to the possibilities of developing romantic relationships throughout Off Campus, there are also other significant ideas/themes contained within the show, such as PTSD (trauma), emotional vulnerability (toxic behavior), pressure from toxic families, and the importance of consent within a romantic relationship are also explored through many episodes of this very popular television show.

Positive Points

This romantic comedy's best feature is the chemistry between Ella Bright and Belmont Cameli. A sense of absolute realism is attained through the performers in this production providing a believable, genuine experience of romance. In addition, the contributions of supporting cast members add immeasurable life to the performance (for instance, both Antonio Cipriano as Logan and Mika Abdalla as Allie are able to generate considerable enthusiasm for their respective roles).

A defining characteristic of this series is its recognizable, clear, (musically prepared) score. It has a wide array of musicians involved and therefore reflects the "feel" of the series. Using artists who are popularly known within the same demographic adds an additional level of credibility to the series for younger audiences. Additionally, there has been growth in the show from being able to include mature adult content to developing its ability to handle problem issues around emotional outbursts and consent in an acceptable manner as well.

Negative Points

Some emotional arcs that involve trauma/struggle are rushed to completion in the series. Also, multiple supporting characters could have benefited from more screen time/development.

Overall: Off Campus's Romantic Comedy does not change the genre but does know who its audience is by making exciting, heartfelt, and fashionable college romance TV series. Its casts have great chemistry; the music is very good; and the characters are lovable — Off Campus will be beloved by those who enjoy romantic dramas.
