Union Minister Nitin Gadkari passed out while giving a speech at an election rally in Yavatmal, Maharashtra on Tuesday afternoon. Luckily, The Bhartiya Janta Party's senior leader received prompt help and after a short break, he was able to get back up again and finish the speech.

A few moments after completing his speech, Nitin Gadkari took to X (formerly known as Twitter) and gave his health update to all the viewers.

"At the rally in Pusad, Maharashtra, I felt unwell because of the heat. But now, I feel better and healthy. I'm going to Varud for the next meeting. Thank you for your love and good wishes."

Mr. Gadkari previously won the elections in Nagpur in 2014 and 2019 and was campaigning for Rajashree Patil, a candidate from chief minister Eknath Shinde's faction of Shiv Sena. She is also the chosen candidate of the ruling Mahayuti alliance for the Yavatmal-Washim constituency.

Earlier this year, there was speculation about Mr. Gadkari's political future when the Bhartiya Janta Party didn't immediately name him as their candidate for the Lok Sabha seat of Nagpur. This delay prompted an invitation from Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray, who asked Mr. Gadkari to join his party with a bit of sarcasm. After this statement, the Bhartiya Janta Party seemed to respond and the name of Mr. Nitin Gadkari was included in the list.

The horror video of the incident was aired on the X from his own account. In the video, we could see Mr. Gadkari being carried away by the people present on the stage. They formed a shield around the BJP leader to give him and the ones treating him some privacy. It is a piece of great news that Mr. Nitin Gadkari is safe and out of danger and all of us are hoping that he will be healthy and continue his campaign with all his might
