The launch event in Cape Town showcased the unveiling of tractors across three OJA platforms – Sub Compact, Compact, and Small Utility – catering to a wide range of market demands. Mahindra introduced 7 new tractor models for the Indian market on the Compact and Small Utility platforms, all featuring 4WD as a standard feature. These models, spanning from 20HP to 40HP (14.91kW to 29.82kW), are designed to address diverse agricultural tasks with unparalleled platform versatility and efficiency.

After its introduction in India, the OJA range is poised for subsequent launches in various regions including North America, ASEAN, Brazil, Australia, South Africa, Europe, and the SAARC region. The ASEAN debut will commence with Thailand in 2024, marking Mahindra's entry into this promising market.

Mr. Hemant Sikka, President – of Farm Equipment Sector, Mahindra & Mahindra, expressed his enthusiasm for the new OJA tractor range, emphasizing its innovation, technology, and potential to revolutionize global farming. He noted that OJA is not only aimed at progressive farmers but also enables Mahindra to target a significant portion of the global tractor industry while expanding into new markets.

Mr. Vikram Wagh, CEO, of Farm Division, Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd., discussed OJA's launch plans for India. He highlighted the paradigm shift brought by OJA in Indian agriculture, incorporating standard 4WD capabilities and pioneering automation controls to enhance precision and performance. This advancement is set to redefine mechanized farming and cater to emerging segments like horticulture and grape farming.

The Mahindra OJA tractor range will be exclusively manufactured at the Zaheerabad facility in Telangana, India – a state-of-the-art tractor manufacturing plant known for its vertical integration and advanced capabilities. This reinforces Mahindra's commitment to producing quality tractors made in India for the global market. The range is set to become available to Indian customers starting in October, coinciding with an expansion of Mahindra's extensive network of over 1100 channel partners, further enhancing the overall customer experience.
