Kanpur Files Movie On 1984 Sikh Massacre Announced, Releasing On October 31
Global Middas Capital (GMC), the production house under the GM Foundation, has recently announced the creation of a film titled 'Kanpur Files.' Producer Sardar Inder Preet Singh revealed during a press conference at the Chandigarh Press Club that the film would depict the real events of the 1984 Sikh genocide. The full title of the docu-drama film is 'The Kanpur Files - 1984 Sikh Genocide,' and it aims to shed light on the premeditated mass killings, looting, and violent incidents against Sikhs that occurred in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh.
Sardar Inder Preet Singh expressed his deep regret that despite the passage of many years since the tragic incident, no action has been taken against the perpetrators, and the victims have not received justice. The anticipated release date for 'Kanpur Files - 1984 Sikh Massacre' is October 31, 2023. Singh believes that the film will provide a strong foundation for those advocating for democratic rights, civil liberties, and human rights to bring the case to the United Nations and seek justice for the victims of the 1984 Sikh Genocide.
