Google Streamlines User Experience: Removes 17 Underutilized Features From Assistant App For Efficiency Boost
Among the features slated for removal are functionalities allowing users to send emails, videos, or audio messages using their voice.
Google has recently announced a strategic move to enhance user experience by discontinuing some underutilized features in Google Assistant. The company aims to streamline its focus on delivering the best possible interactions, leading to the removal of 17 features, starting from January 26. When users inquire about one of the eliminated features after this date, they may receive a notification informing them of its unavailability.
Google clarified that this decision stems from an ongoing effort to prioritize beloved user experiences and invest in refining the underlying technology for improved performance. As a result, certain features that have seen limited use will no longer be supported.
