Mirzapur The Movie trailer transports us into a beloved crime universe from OTT to cinema with familiar elements. The famous series of movies has returned, with Pankaj Tripathi, Ali Fazal and Divyenndu coming back in their roles as actors. The director of the film is Gurmmeet Singh. The trailer takes the audience straight to Mirzapur where power never comes easy, and acquiring the Gaddi has always meant violence, treachery and terror. The return of Munna Bhaiya happens to be the hot topic going around; Divyenndu’s character became one of the most loved characters in the franchise and its return serves strongly to remind fans of the original series. Storyline
The movie trailer suggests that the central idea of the film is the fight for power in Mirzapur. Kaleen Bhaiya, played by Pankaj Tripathi, insists that power cannot just be won by using political strength at the right time. In a Mirzapur environment, only the powerful rule. Interestingly, the film is being positioned in the time period that corresponds to the first season of the series, which means that it's possible for us to see Munna Bhaiya back in the film, again with the character portrayed by Divyenndu. In a scene, we see Munna referring to himself as the king of Mirzapur and professing his ambitions of becoming the ruler of the state but, in actuality, these ambitions are opposite to those of Guddu (also played by Ali Fazal).
The story of the movie seems to revolve around the rivalry between Guddu and Munna. The trailer shows Ravi Kishan in a strong role of a gangster who has his own plans regarding the Gaddi. Jitendra Kumar gets to play an interesting role of Guddu's younger sibling, a character originally played by Vikrant Massey in the original series.
