After a long sabbatical, the producers of Jana Nayagan have come out with a brand-new promotional video. The promo comes close on the heels of the movie being cleared by the Censor Board and a leak on the internet that had inhibited promotional activity. Full of stylized stunts and striking visuals, as well as a memorable conclusion shot showing Vijay in a police uniform, the trailer successfully reignites interest in the movie prior to its official release. 

Storyline

The trailer suggests that the viewers will watch a thriller about the ways of protecting democracy in India. The role of the cop who saves a little girl and fights against a powerful villain threatening the life of the country has been played by Vijay. The director, H. Vinoth, reveals the fact that Jana Nayagan is based on Telugu film Bhagavanth Kesari but that almost half of the story has been modified and rewritten so that it coincides with the persona of the famous actor.
