The prospect of BTS visiting India is becoming more than just a fantasy. The recent buzz created by HYBE India has got many Indian BTS fans very excited about an announcement that will be made on October 7. The mysterious message from the company has made the fans believe that the much-awaited Indian leg of BTS’ ARIRANG World Tour could be announced soon.
HYBE India shared a video teaser of just 12 seconds with the message, “Did your wish come true? Find out on October 7.” The company has not said anything about BTS, a concert or an India tour in its teaser. However, many things in the video have made people associate the announcement with BTS.
Why Fans Think BTS Could Be Coming to India
The factor causing these beliefs is due to the timing of the teaser. BTS is currently working on their ARIRANG World Tour, and there have been hopes for an India stop ever since the group announced its worldwide tours.
The teaser released also has the beginning of the song “DNA,” and this has further fueled the speculation. The fans took to social media and started talking about the possibility of an announcement of a tour in India, and many of them took the word “manifestation” as a mention of their desire to see BTS perform in their country.
This excitement comes after the group has recently had some associations with India. BTS has been a part of Google India's Gemini campaign, where members interacted with an India-related context and expressed their wishes to travel to the country.
Could Mumbai Be the BTS India Tour Stop?
Mumbai has been one of the most talked-about cities regarding a BTS concert in India. The rumors for a possible concert in Mumbai once again came alive with discussions related to more tour dates being added to the ARIRANG World Tour.
But it must be mentioned that fans’ speculations are different from what an official announcement from the tour would be. As of October 6, there has been no official confirmation regarding a date for the BTS ARIRANG World Tour in India from either HYBE or BIGHIT MUSIC.
That being said, the excitement has rather grown, as currently, the tour is very vast with many concerts in different countries, making it reasonable for fans to expect further destinations to be announced.
HYBE India’s October 7 Announcement Could Be Something Else
Though BTS is perhaps the biggest guess among the Indian audience, there are many other possibilities. HYBE India has been increasing its presence in the country by organising various K-pop events, auditions, and fan experiences. The company has also been conducting activities connected to its Indian operations, meaning the October 7 reveal could potentially concern another HYBE project. Interestingly, HYBE India has organised a Secret Party in Mumbai on October 7, promising music, surprises, familiar faces and an important reveal. The event is listed as a K-pop event taking place at Khar in Mumbai.
BTS ARIRANG World Tour Keeps India Hopes Alive
Thus, the date of October 7 is quite significant but does not guarantee that BTS will perform. BTS’ current ARIRANG World Tour has a lot in store for the members and marks a new beginning for them as a full group. The tour has already witnessed the members travelling to multiple international venues, with Latin American dates anticipated.
For Indian ARMY, this concert bears more meaning as BTS has never done a full-scale stadium concert in India. The huge fan base of the group in India has expressed its eagerness to see all of them performing together.

Will BTS Finally Come to India?
The answer is still open, but October 7 may answer this question. The teaser for HYBE India’s “Did your manifestation work?” and the use of BTS’ “DNA” in it is raising hopes for Indian fans, although the company has not confirmed whether BTS will perform in India.
If the event announcement, which will come out on October 7, is indeed the date for BTS’ ARIRANG World Tour in India, it can be one of the biggest announcements ever in K-pop history for India. We cater to the hopes of BTS in India, as this opportunity is not yet officially confirmed one.
