The next generation of Samsung’s foldable phones is making its way into the news now since the latest leaks have exposed the key details regarding Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8 and Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra. We can expect the new foldable phones to be launched during Samsung Galaxy Unpacked event, which is planned for the end of this month.

According to the popular leakster Ice Universe, Samsung is making a completely new and redesigned hinge mechanism for the Galaxy Z Fold 8 devices. Hence, it is believed that by doing so this new setup will help in minimizing the crease on the inner display of the foldable device, which was another concern of many users chain foldable phones.

The crease of the device is said to work like the hinge of the Oppo Find N6 as well, which is considered as one of the devices with the least visible crease. The mechanism used in the foldable smartphone is said to bring in a more solid feel while folding and unfolding. Although this will stop the use of various angles to keep your phone folded, it will surely make the phone a bit more durable.

The launch of the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8 will also bring with it some price details that have been leaked out. The starting price of the smartphone will be EUR 1,999 (about Rs. 2.17 lakh) for the 256GB model. This smartphone will have a price of EUR 2,199 (about Rs. 2.40 lakh) for the 512GB version and EUR 2,599 (approximately Rs. 2.83 lakh) for the 1TB version.

There are also rumors concerning the pricing of the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra, as the starting price of this smartphone is expected to be EUR 2,199 (about Rs. 2.40 lakh) for its 256GB version. The 512GB and 1TB storage versions of this smartphone might come with a price tag of EUR 2,399 (roughly Rs. 2.60 lakh) and EUR 2,799 (about Rs. 3 lakh) respectively.

The particular date when Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8 series will be launched remains unknown. However, some reports speculate that Samsung may launch Galaxy Z Flip 8 too at the time of the launch. Various sources claim that Samsung has very impressive hardware upgrades for its foldable phones.
